Prints and Photographs Reading Room

The Library of Congress is a rich resource for many of the sites listed in this blog. This is one more in that listing. The Prints and Photographs Reading Room is a great source for historical photographs and prints. It contains approximately 60% of the total collection and you can search the entire site or look in specific collections for just the right historical image you need. Not all images are displayed and some require payment to receive a copy.
