War In The 20th Century

World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War and more are all displayed on the Conflict Map. Using Shockwave technology this site displays a world map with conflicts posted by icons. Unfortunately in some cases the conflict icons overlap one another with the number of conflicts being so great. A timeline slide bar allows you to display a map for 10-year periods of 20th century conflicts. Placing your pointer on the icon for a conflict will result in a very brief explanation of that conflict. Excellent for history classes.
